Re: Looking for replacement A-pillar clips

My 92 had two different clips. One that looked like a plastic christmas tree and the other a plastic "A". I bought both types at a local GM dealer. Autozone only had the christmas tree type of clips. I have seen some websites online or guys on ebay that will sell bags of the clips for good price. I forget which clip but one of them was expensive at dealer ($4 a piece).

Here is pic of two clips:

Re: Looking for replacement A-pillar clips

The correct clips are available almost exclusively from the dealer. They come 10 to a bag and that's exactly how many are required for a hardtop. They tend to break when removed which is really a good thing, because the A-pillar trim is fragile too, and it's better to replace the clips. Get ready for some sticker shock, they were $2 each the last time (1998?) I ordered a bag. I've posted the part number and pics before, if you want to do a search.
