looking for a back high wing!!! 91 camaro

I'm working on putting a 355, under a 41/4 inch cowl hood, I feel that a high wing in the back would complete the car. If anybody knows where I could find one it would be great.

Re: looking for a back high wing!!! 91 camaro

I actually have one but when pulling it off a junker the left corner tip broke, I'm not sure if it would be fixable or not? So I'm looking for another one until I know for sure.

Re: looking for a back high wing!!! 91 camaro

it is kind of like a hard foam inside, covered with paint. does that help at all on determining whether it is fixable?

I guess it would be fiber glass, it is definitely not plastic or metal. The break looks like a couple pins or something would keep it together while resin or something dries around the breaking area.

I have one. Its red with white stripes. Im sure its been repainted. I got it off of a 91-2 Z28 in a JY. It does have cracks on the dr side from the crash but is VERY fixable..

Re: looking for a back high wing!!! 91 camaro

The holes in the quarter panels that are there for the spoiler studs do not line up with the studs on the new spoiler. After the spoiler is finally mounted, the sides of the middle section of the spoiler does not line up with the quarter panel pieces. ( Like if you were to look at the rear of the car, the gap between the middle section, and the quarter pieces would be almost nothing one one side, and three inches on another). Just an example. The quarter pieces also on some of them look like they are leaning outward, and on the back of the car, with the hatch closed, the mid section, and quarter sections simply do not line up. Do a search on them here on Third Gen. You might be suprised on what you see.

Re: looking for a back high wing!!! 91 camaro

I looked at them for some time, because i love the way they look, but im not interested in having to major adjustments to my car, and the NEW parts, just for an extra couple of inches on the spoiler. Hopefully these issues can be cleared up by the manufacturer. If they do..... who do i right the check too. Hope this helped

Re: looking for a back high wing!!! 91 camaro

The wing that I am looking for is I believe the ferrari style wing in which the preexisting stud holes on the quarter panels from the old spoiler off the car would end up being filled and painted over. There would be new holes in the deck lid instead, or just use the same deck lid that the wing came from. Thanks for the information for the other though.
