Anybody ever see any black Trans Am's with silver gfx? I'm mostly referring to the 85-90 style. I saw one years ago, but I have never seen another one.

Theres plenty of blue/silver, red/silver, black/gold, etc., but no black/silver.

 

There's one on CL I've been looking at. 1987.

 

I can say that for the 86 models it wasn't offered,you could have got Black w/ Black or Champagne Gold Aero Mldg.I would imagine that they kept it that way!!!not sure.

 

I'm thinking the one I saw many many years ago was an '87, but I'm not sure. Maybe it was solid black, but someone painted the gfx silver. It's a good looking combo nonetheless.

 

None of my literature shows black primary with silver as a secondary option on the Trans Am. As mantaguy points out, the only secondary color that I can find that was offered on the black Trans Ams was a gold (depending on the year). As I don't have all the literature at this moment, and because things changed despite literature, this may not be completely accurate statement.

That combo was available for the SE,just noticed that

 

That combo was available for the FireBird 13L 41U.

 

That is weird the way they offered black/silver on the Firebird (and Formula) but not on the Trans Am. The one I saw must have been painted by the owner.

 

I agree that black and silver looks good together, but I have never seen one, not stock at least.
