About 6 weeks later the car was then considered "incompatible" and then cancelled 2 weeks after that.
So technically you could order a 350 IROC in 1986, BUT it was not fulfilled.

I remember ordering my 91 RS. It was a great feeling sitting down with the fleet manager at Cormier Chevrolet and checking off my car exactly like I wanted it. The part that sucked for this 19 year old kid was waiting the 12 weeks it took the plant to build it. I had the first Teal green camaro in my town. I'll never forget the day it came in and I got to see it on the lot with the "sold" sign hanging from the rear view mirror. I remember thinking to myself "i can't believe this car is mine!" What a great memory! I only wish that I had been able to afford the insurance on a Z28. I would probably still have the car if that were the case. The LO3 just didn't do it for me after while.
