im trying to gather what wheels came on my 1992 firebird i have the rpo code n90 i think it had the 15X7 gold diamond cross lace wheels that AREN'T gta's can someone help my car is a base model v6 if that helps.

I think there were some other base wheels, and the ones in the pic were 15" upgrade.

Are you looking to find a set of these wheels? I may know where to get a set.

well yea im on the look out but im tired of being told they dont exsist and that im wrong the fact that n90 wheels are only saposedly monte wheels

The gold wheel in the first photo is a 16x8 PW7. Note the lip/deep dish -- the 15 inch N90 is similar, but does not have the lip/deep dish. IIRC, 16 inch PW7 wheels were NOT available at all on base model Firebirds.

As far as the RPO being the same for a completely different style of wheel (Monte Carlo SS), GM has been known to reuse RPO codes for completely different options on different cars.

im not stupid let me try this agian maybe you shoul look at the dish and how its shaped and 2 the rim i posted isnt as deep as a gta rim so try to get it right her is a gta wheel there are some characteristics that make them different.

the first is the original the second is a gta wheel 1 the first one is concave and not flat faced like the gta 2 it isnt as whide hence why the dish isnt as deep

You can tell whoever is telling you that those wheels don't exist for Pontiac, that there wrong,they are for 91-92 Pontiac's and a few years before also.

I have seen them on a 85-86 firebird back in 87 or so.

This Firebird has the diamond spoke wheels like the ones in that Craigslist ad, and no... they're NOT the same as GTA wheels.

yea cuz you can tell cuz gta wheels have a flate face those wheels are convex shaped and they dont hace as deep a dish on them

I worked next door to a Pontiac Dealership in '92, and every single base model Bird they had on their lot came with the 15" gold wheels. They were nice looking cars back then. Rarely see them now.

Yes, as everyone said, the base bird did come with gold cross laces as optional (seemed like all of the cars I saw with them had the appearance package also, so I don' t know if one option required the other also).
