Finding RPO Codes

I purchased my 1987 Firebird 305 back in May. I noticed, however, that the RPO codes sticker was missing from my center console. I was wondering if I could find the RPO codes based off of my VIN? Or will I never know? The options for the car seem kind of weird to me, so I am curious as to what all I have/ how many in this combination were produced.

Thanks!

Just checked it. I can see the residue from where the sticker was. Good idea though.

Damn that sucks. The Vin won't tell you. Only the build sheet if you find it and the spid (rpo sticker)

Re: Finding RPO Codes

I just found this old thread:

https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/hist...ieve-lost.html

I'm still kind of cautious when it comes to sites like that though. I think I'm the 7th or 8th owner, so who knows what happened to the stickers haha. Thanks for your help

Re: Finding RPO Codes

1) GM media archive is legitimate. You will not get all of your RPOs it will be the dealer invoice, and have the important ones, but some things are missing like the springs.
2) There is a chance that if you have a car from Canada (not too far being in Ohio) you might be able to look it up on compnine.com or another site.

Based off of the VIN it is a Van Nuys car. It did not come up on the compnine database. Is that for Canadian models only? And I'll definitely look into the media archive. Thanks for letting me know it's legit

For 1982-1989 Compnine is only good for cars that were exported to Canada. GM US got rid of that information for the rest of our cars for some reason.

1990-1992 Compnine is more complete, 1990 is 100% there, 91 & 92 about 95% there...
