Bright red hardtop, looks factory, needs tires, in showroom condition, LG4. But the seller wants $7,500.00!
Worth it?

Without seeing any pics it's hard to say, but at face (word) value a clean V8 car with a manual transmission and 53,000 miles for 7,500 is a good deal.
I'd offer 7k to cover the cost of tires.

Pull-me-over red, 1986, LG4, not much to get excited about.
I guess I look at LG4s as good projects, but not a keeper I'd want to be married to... They're too slow in stock config to really enjoy.

I agree they aren't anything to write home about, I was just looking at it from the perspective that if you get on autotrader and search for a V8 manual (any car) that in that price range you end up with a bunch of cars that are really high mileage or beatup. So from a strictly "it's a car" perspective that isn't a bad price, in theory.

Be an easy swap. I'd take a clean unmolested slug any day over a hotrod some worm has went through. Engines are cheaper to swap than fixing a ragged out jalopy any day.

Nice to see a black interior which hasn't faded blue.
