Some photos would really help -- these cars are all over the place condition wise, even with low-ish miles like the one you're looking at.

If it's as nice as you say it is, I'd say the car is worth anywhere from $6,500-$10,000.

Sounds like a nice car but you aren't attached to it. Personally I would offer him a low price and then swap in a T56 if he accepted. Unless you want to keep it stock as an investment of sorts, in which case I might just broaden your search and buy what you want. These cars are rising in value but winter is the time to buy. Get us some pics or a link and post the options it has.

Thanks so much for the compliments,it's been painted all over and it's a decent job.the car runs good and drives great. I can't get over how tight and rattle free it is! I'm still looking for a 5 speed car,I can't decide on a 1le or an iroc

The 91-92 hard top cars are as tight as thirdgens ever got IMO. That's a really nice car, and a good example of the best of the breed. That car is as good as thirdgens ever got.

I have one identical to that one but it suffered an engine fire. I'm in the process of rebuilding it, your picture is an inspiration for me. Thanks for posting it.

Re: 91 z28 what's it worth

The 91-92 models were sturdier from the factory due to some extra glue or something. My 91 was the tightest of any I had and a very strong runner for a LB9. U got a gorgeous car there I almost bought one like it with red hood scoops, red decals, and red inside the rims

The glue (adhesives) came in 1992 - 1991 models didn't get it.
