Even with a snarlin v8, super quiet exhaust, T56, and 4.10 gears...its still UGLY AF!

I think the Coupes look awesome. I am still looking for an 85 or 87 Dark Blue one with a V8. A copy of my first thirdgen.

And that's why it'd be killer with a snarlin' V8 with a super quiet exhaust, T56, and 4.10 gears.

My last one was a T5, but also a 2.8 with a carburetor...
I've always wanted to do a Sport Coupe as a half Pro-Street car. Lots of cubic inches, roots blower, slicks and skinnies. Something like the most mundane Camaro ever to leave Van Nuys, that pops wheelies when the light turns green. You know, for quick trips to the grocery store, and quiet Sunday afternoons.

Hi there,
I can tell you from personal experience, a V6 T5 is fun! I did a little work on the engine - headers, bigger exhaust, opened up the airbox, new fuel injectors and EGR and smog pump delete - and it really woke up that little engine! It squirts thru traffic like crap thru a goose. Cheap thrills. I can see why Chevy sold nearly 90,000 of them every year - they were fun cars!

I do like yours skinny z and I do understand some people like these just like some people like the Mustang LXs because they are simpler and lighter and understated. They make awesome sleeper hotrods but the one posted up is really nice enough id hate to strip her down and you would have a fortune in it.

Re: Yes, I'm on a SC kick...
I always thought it was interesting that Chevy didn't have a "Formula" like version on the Camaro. An Iroc in an SC package. I'm sure it was discussed, and I'm sure there was a reason, but just from OUR point of view in 2018, it's interesting to think about what it would've looked like. I suppose Skinny Z's is pretty close from an appearance point of view.

Formula? All the good stuff in the basic body with a couple flares. Standard V8, with the 350 optional. Standard 16" wheels with speed rated rubber, WS6/FE2 suspension Standard. Special hood, spoiler, and decals to let the riff-raff know. Good stuff.
Always felt these cars without GFX channel the curvy 60's and 70's Muscle Car look into the thirdgen styling. It's a throwback to a simpler time when plastic embellishments, bulging muscles and Bat-suit nipples were unnecessary.

I like the LOOK of the body without ground effects, and obvious I like it with them too.
But REALLY bothered me how you could see the damn exhaust hanging down on the Formula.

But it would take too much money.
