This is a 1983 Iron Duke for sale on FB. I figured some of you guys have never seen the standard hubcaps before.

Interesting. I didn't know those cars came with those kind of wheels/caps. Kind of a throw back to the baby moon look. Did Firebirds have this as well?

Re: Poverty Caps!

So hard to believe they would still be with the car after all this time. Cool to see now but in the day you would think they would be the first thing to go. Honestly the first time I have seen this style on an Camaro.

Strippo, Iron Duke, 4 speed. $800. I'd buy it on general principle if it were local.

Re: Poverty Caps!

Like the old muscle car days of "dog dish" or "baby moon" I think those would be pretty cool on a widened steel wheel. As I mentioned in another thread on this subject, it would be period correct too.

Re: Poverty Caps!

The 1983 cross-fire 5 speed in Manteca is interesting. Didn't think they made that combo.

Where jmd? GM never made that, but my '83 Crossfire was T5 swapped. I wonder if that could be it?

It's a different one. Probably T5 swapped.
