Over the last few years, I have Built up a rather large collection of all known MSE cars from 82-86 both Camaro and Firebird. This collection is the largest anywhere on the internet. In an effort to find more cars for my archive I am opening it up here. If anyone has info or pictures on any cars that I do not have listed here please let me know. There are way too many pictures to post. I have hundreds. So here are the thumbnails.

I have 83 #100 here. It's a white 5 speed. Looks like you have a black one in your thumbnails?

If I remember correctly. The car was in an insurance lot, then bought/cleaned up. Sold on ebay

 

Yup that's it. It was run hard. One doir is dented under the mirror. One if tge epsilon wheels is bent also. Still needs a lot of tlc. Did fix the headlamps etc.

The Mecham wing only looks right if you have the associated wide body kit. Thats what everyone of them should have looked like.

 

I think they pulled it off alright.

Ah yes car 65. Kinda the bane of my mecham existence. Car keeps popping up. When you are trying to uncover as many of these cars that there is on the internet. Especially when you are trying to catch the newly listed or posted ones for your archive. Then you see this one over and over and over. You get tired of seeing it. Anyways this car has been tossed around like a bad habit. It was on bring a trailer. Sold for like 9k. Then the owner tried to flip it at the auctions. Lost around 3k on it. Should have just contacted myself, or any of the other die hard mecham guys on Facebook. After the auction fees this dude lost big. Kinda funny imo. But I have a twisted sense of humor.

 

65 looks like a nice enough car, a few cosmetic problems, but nothing major. Looks like a repaint to me, the color does not quite look right, might be the camera, might be my monitor...

So #40 you just picked up is a '-R' serial just like my #53. Do we know for sure if this is because it's red? Or, is it because it has Recaro seats?

I also have several more racing pics from the winning season if you don't already have them.

 

All the "R" ment was that the car was red. Recently I found car 41. But I have 82-41-R on file as well. 41 was just white. The R was dropped after 82. Nothing crazy. Also there is more than 10 82 red cars. (Common misconception)

1982-183 Aka the "targa MSE" only one made by MSE.

 

I found 82-0043-R in a salvage yard a couple years ago. It was red with a flat hood.

I got the spoiler, map pocket and shift plate. All the other mse parts were gone.
