I have some hatch motor pull down assemblies that I have re-manufactured. They have new guides, new motor housing and new GM gears. Assemblies are completely disassembled, cleaned, sandblasted, painted then reassembled using white lithium grease. Units may come with either black or clear motor housing (black motor housing shown.) Note: The warranty does not cover damage to motor housing from slamming deck lid or misalignment during installation, however if you are within the warranty period and have this issue I will fix for the cost of parts and return shipping.

So what does it do push up and pull down how does it work?

 

yes, it mounts just behind the rear hatch lock and pulls the hatch down so it does not have to be slammed. They don't push the hatch up really.

O got u I didnt know if it pushed the hatch up... I looking into doing something like a vette where u push a button and the hatch pops up but im not sure what the parts are I need to do this

 

I do have the hatch release solenoids where you push the button on the dash and the hatch will pop-up and unlock. They mount on the hatch pulldown assemblies.

 

Yup I need that im pretty sure I just need that and a new actuator I think thats what its called the part that holds the hatch up mines been broke the whole time iv owned my 85TA and I dont get in there much but im about to start building a sub box in there so iv been thinking of the things I need to fix it the way I want
