To all, I asked seller over multiple PM's the following:
1. Let me what know what price shipped to my address. He the responds what is a fair price and shipping would be in the $40 to $50 range.
2. I reply that if you ship via an USPS large f look at rate box that shipping will be about $22. I ask how much shipped insured and said I can send payment via PayPal as friends and family.
3. He replays it is in great condition and states "I truly do not know the value. I'm open to offers or may put it in ebay."
4. I reply with $170 shipped insured.
5. He replies "Hahahaha. Absolutely not. Take care guy".
6. I reply "Your ad stated make an offer and you stated you had no idea on price. Tell me your price insured to zip code 78660".
7. He states "Right. General respect and integrity was implied. Anyone within this network knows your offer was ridiculous and advantageous at best. I don't appreciate it. Other sellers want twice your offer for a unit that's in rough condition.".
8. I then replied " Simple question: What are you wanting price shipped to zip code 78660?"
9. He replies " I think I've changed my mind. This would look great in my 90 IROC vert."
If you don't want offers, post a price (which is required anyways). I hate when people post with no price, then get "offended" when someone makes an offer.
Usually this is done when the seller is hoping for the guy that wants it no matter the price as obviously he lied when he said he had no idea what it is worth, then blurts out number of other ones being sold.....
I just happen to be looking for a dashpad. And by chance, I saw this for sale. There is one on eBay right now OEM Chevrolet Olds CD player Radio Headunit Delco-Loc II that appears to be in good condition for $280.00 plus free shipping. Just thought I would mention it.
