What's a complete and nice overhead console going for these days? I just took one out of my 84 Z28, very rare for that year but I'm sure there are lots of them out there from later years. Are they all the same does anyone know?

 

I honestly have 0 clue what they are worth. I was figuring id offer 50 bucks if it had map lights and sunglass holder.

I have an over head console i would let go for 50 dollars plus shipping. I have black leather seat out of a 1987 iroc-z but I only have the back seat. no fronts. I was to get them but that buddy sold them behind my back. make ofter on them

 

the cosoles are virtually the same. there are 2 different kinds. ones for hardtop cars and ones for t-top cars. I've got an extra from a hard top car. the leather pouch is a bit worn out and there is no flash light. if you're interested send me a PM and I'll get pictures.

If you purchase a console, my advice is to purchase it complete. The individual parts (map light and its bezel, leather pouch, dome light, snippet of wiring harness, mounting studs, and flash light--especially the latter) will be very difficult to find, and they won't be cheap. For example, I'm asking $20 for the dome light cover alone, and I recently sold a near mint flash light for $35. Typically, a complete console runs from $60 (if you get lucky) to $90+.

You can have my 100% complete console in very nice condition for $150 shipped. I can also include the special mounting hardware.

 

Just for general info, the overheads were a $60 option brand new, IIRC. I gave $50 shipped for mine and it is complete, so bargains are out there.

No damage, they are in great condition.
