WTB: rear view mirror map lamp harness
Anyone have the wiring harness in good condition that connects the rear view mirror lamps to the power source for an '89 GTA?? My car came without it.
Thanks!

I only need the harness bro b/c I already have the mirror! If you can tell me how to hook it up properly as well as send me a pic of the whole assembly, I might consider buying it from you by the end of this week.

heres what i have if this will work or no...is from an 89 formula. the mirror has 3 wires to a plug just above the mirror, the wires run back to where the overhead light would be and run down the drivers side a pillar(these are orange and white). there is also a ground wire on the roof just above the rear view mirror. if thats sounds like what youre looking for ill pull it out for you. also, the guy i bought the car from undercoated the whole interior so there is some of that on the wiring that runs along the roof, i dont know if thats a big deal or not. does this sound like what you need?

Cool
! Yeah that is exactly what im looking for, as for the undercoat overspray, its no big deal since it will be hidden. can you send a pic or 2 to epik_18@ghotmail.com.

Re: WTB: rear view mirror map lamp harness
Well now that I see the pic, is there just a seperate harness for the map lights? the reason i'm asking is because my overhead dome light works but not my map lights unless it had a harness like the one pictured but with the map lamp harness part cut off!
Re: WTB: rear view mirror map lamp harness
thats all the wiring from the roof of the car im not sure about 2 seperate harnesses...on my camaro (which doesnt have the lights in the review mirror) there was a similar piece of wiring, but minus the split off for the mirror lights, so maybe they are supposed to be together? i just took that piece out of the car about 5 min before i took the picture and it was plugged into the mirror, the overhead light, and the end piece was down by the drivers kickpanel area....basically i dont know, sorry
