Like the title says, I am looking for a 90-92 cassete player for a camaro with the full equalizer (90-92 meaning the yellow lettered faceplate).

I have one out of a 92 camaro... It worked 100% when I pulled it, and I know it still does... In MINT condition, also, has the yellow lettering you want... Here are some pics...

I took really good care of this thing when I pulled it out. In fact I put it in a cardboard box with bubble wrap when I pulled it and stored it in a closet

While that is the right vintage, I do have have one of those, I am looking for one with the full equalizer. Thanks for responding to my wanted ad though.

Can you post a picture ?? I have never seen ( or heard of ) a yellow letter Radio with an Equalizer before.

My Z vin specifies that this is what it is supposed to have, I have seen a couple in the past, but I have no picture, If I had one to take a picture of I wouldn't need one, heh. But for image purposes, it looks like a pre-90-92 radio cassette player with equalizer, except with yellow lettering instead of white lettering

Too Bad, I'd really like to see one of these.......

I checked the White book and the "EQ" radio is listed there. Says that it was RPO 'UX1' and generaly not available - about 1593 were sold that year. But when I looked at my factory 91 brochure there are just 3 radios listed for optional equipment. The cassette deck, The CD player and the BOSE system ?!?

If you find a Pic of a 90-92 Equalizer system - please post it !

I still do not have a photo on hand, same is true about having seen them in the past before this post, just trying to make the Z 100% correct, sadly I have ever yellow lettered radio except for this particular one I am looking for

The above is a previous post, I know this radio exists because I have seen a couple before, never thought to copy the picture or anything, just tired of having the technically wrong radio in my 91 Z28.

I have seen it before, and I should have bought the one of the few I have seen, not really here to debate its existence, it would be one thing if I had never seen one and my car oddly had the RPO code for it, but I have the code and I have seen the radio before.

Please if you have one please let me know.

Yeah.....sadly I have at least 2 of each of the other style radios for those years, but I haven't been able to find this one, last one I saw must have been 12 years ago.

I have found every other part for a third gen, and I am going to definitively say at this point that this radio is the rarest third gen part. At this point it would seem easier to print a modified RPO sticker, lol. Of course the original owner had to yank out the original and throw it out.
