i prefer using paypal seeing to don't have a lot of time to get money orders

Re: power seat wiring

what are you actually asking for?
there is a wiring harness that connects both seats and the power lumbar supports and off of the seat wire there is a dual set of wires, one goes to the power and then one two ground. here is a pic. is that what you are looking for? if you want the entire harness then you have to order it from gm for about 110.00.
if you already have the pigtail on the drivers side power seat, but no need for lumbar support that is gm propriatary and you cant buy it from a store. the pigtail has 6 wires from it. is that it?
here are the pics.
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/inte...seats-use.html is where i posted the other pic for some reason i cant get it to download again.

Re: power seat wiring

I would assume so, on the bottom of the seat you'll see the motor, that has a power and ground coming off it and it has the plug on the end. I'm looking to the other side of the harness that plugs in to the seat wiring. the passenger side has nothing power at all.

not available anyplace. cant even get it from gm and i tried.
so here is what you do.
take the black ground and put a loup on the end and ground it to the bolt that under the center console, there is already at least one ground there so you know it is good.
take the orange line and run it to the fuse box. you will have a 30 amp fuse going into the box.
cut the line that comes out after the fuse not the one going in, put a loup on both of those ends of the cut line.
run the orange line from the seat under the seat along the drivers door, under the left kick panel and put a loup on it.
MAKE THEM SMALL LOUPS and get a nut and bolt - VERY SHORT and bolt them together.
before you actually bolt them get some shrink wrap for electronics and run all 3 wires through it, bolt and pull the shrink wrap over it. heat it. you can use a hair dryer or just light a match and hold it close enough to make it shrink. i like to put another one over that and shrink it too.
the seat will work without problems.
and the motor you see will only operate the elect part of the seat. the passenger seat is the one with the compressor to run the lumbar air supports. so you will have half of it working.
gm wanted to save money so all the compressors are under the passenger seat.
let me know if you want the gm part number for the complete harness, but it will take a few weeks to get and will cost as i stated.

Re: power seat wiring

I have the Basic Power Supply Harness for the Camaro Electric Seat! They run $10.00 plus shipping and handling. There is two different versions. One have a Female End that hooks to your Motor Harness and the other type has a Male. These are NOT for the GTA Type of Seat as the other person is mentioning. If you have any questions or other needs we can be reached at (805) 522-2539.

Thank you,
