Need VSS buffer box
Like the title says. i need new/used vss buffer box.. i perfer new. its for a 92 camaro v6 3.1. any info to where to get one or anyone selling a working one would be great.. just to clarify the vss box is what controls the speeometer and odometer motor through 4 wire that clip on...

ill check when i get home i am at work if anything ill text u. ill try to get a pic up soon of what i need. the location of it is right under the speedometer. i know it controles the the speedodometer cuz i have it off right now and i dont know whats my MPH but it also connects the odometer motor to turn the gears to know how many many i have done

I've got a spare cluster from a 92 V6. I looked at it a little while ago, do you mean the little printed circuit board under the speedo that has a ribbon type gray wiring thing that comes from the speedo plugged into it? Or would you rather have the whole speedo with it too?

I've got the one from the cluster I have. Took it out and the solder joints all look like new; of course that doesn't mean it works because it looks good. I have no way to test it, but I'll send it priority shipped for $15 if you want to take a chance on it. I won't guarantee it or anything, but it's an option. Up to you?

umm... the 92 camaro with the 3.1 doesnt have a "buffer" box, all of that is controlled through the ecm itself directly to the cluster

Well I figured out what he was talking about and described it further up on the thread and sent him what he wanted. He told me it worked so we managed to solve the problem regardless of the improper terminology.
