WTB: Firebird cluster lens

Okay, I finally found the spacer that I was missing that locates the steering column properly under the dash, so now I won't break another cluster lens if I need to pull the cluster out for any reason (I don't usually drop the column to just replace a blown bulb in the cluster). I need an instrument cluster lens for a Bird, not sure if they are the same for the gauge and idiot light clusters or not, but I need the gauge cluster lens. Preferably as clear as possible as the ones I have/had were either smoke-etched or scratched to crap before I broke them at the bottom of the speedometer...

This is for the 87, yes?
Do you know the year range for that style?

85-92 lens, as long as it's the full gauge cluster, I think (don't know if the idiot light cluster used the same lens with different guts or not). I'm currently using a cluster from a 90-92 car in the dash.

Re: WTB: Firebird cluster lens

guage clusters and lenses were different parts and also different again for each year group style of thedse cars, such as 82-84 and 85 to 90 or 92

i have a really nice complete lower miles clean condition full idiot lights cluster from a 83 firebird i scrapped a couple three years ago, it appears to be different lense and pieces than the guages-type cluster birds

hope tha helps possibly? good luck!

Re: WTB: Firebird cluster lens

Well, sorry, All the ones I've found have cracked lenses. Just curious, is that just one piece that spans all four gauges, or two separate ones? I'll LYK if I stumble on a good one

One piece, six philips screws... And the trip odometer reset button unscrews from the shaft to release the lens.

Re: WTB: Firebird cluster lens

I forgot to post an update to this: I no longer need a cluster lens, but maybe the other guy could use the full cluster.
