New dashboard

Got in my 91 camaro z28 this morning and had the worst morning of a lifetime..i had 3 nice cracks in my dash right in front of the steering wheel. Looking for a new one. Let me know what you've got and how much.

dash pad, and from what I hear, they are hard to come by and the replacement isnt cheap

the covers blo chunks , and a good used one on ebay is 3-400 sory . just went thru this myself on a very rare occasion you can find one at a local junk yard for $50 RARE .I missed a perfect one by about 10 min . when I found it there was already somebody pulling it . I offered him 100 to walk away ........... told me to #@*! in my hat.

This has a cover on it,it doesn't blo chunks,(whatever that means)

I put this in until I found one,and I did.beats driving around with a cracked up dash.

How are they going to form the leather around the speaker cut-outs and side vents? And make the corners stay in place?

I'm not sure but I saw someone did it in this forum in a firebird if I'm not mistaken. How I'm not sure, but I would guess stich it up n big holes for the speakers and place a custom grille in it.

Mine is still in good shape but from what I've read its only a matter of time. You can also just put on a carpet "Dash Mat" until a good dash pad comes your way at a reasonable price. You can also search some of the threads to find creative ways that others have dealt with cracks.
