Free bump just to say congrats, that wins the award for ugliest steering wheel on a third gen so far. Good move getting rid of it.

The plastic shift **** with duct tape takes the cake though. Especially since it's all broken and fell apart when I shifted

Re: WTB: Factory Firebird steering wheel
Do you have any preference ??
82-84 Style ?
85-87 Style ?
88-89 Style ?
90-92 Style ?
GTA Style ?
Leather / Non-Leather ?
What is your ZIP code ??
I've got a few different style Firebird Steering Wheels from 85-89.

Re: WTB: Factory Firebird steering wheel
80's style, not the newer rectangular-center type.
Black, no other color.
Preferably leather.
New to Firebirds... could tell you anything about a 3rd gen Camaro but when it comes to design changes on these 'birds I'm lost! haha

Re: WTB: Factory Firebird steering wheel
This is the best match I've got,........

1 small mark on the left side just above the stiching. It's used so it's a little worn but still in real good used shape. If your interested, just make a serious offer and post your ZIP code for a shipping quote.
P.S. This type of Steering Wheel is "Grey" from the factory, The grey always wears off used parts causing the wheel to become a blend of dark grey and black like mine.

They were all grey? I'm seeing a lot on the 'bay that look black like the Iroc variant!

85-87 style from the factory; Yes,... I believe so. ( Same as the 85+ leather Shifter **** IIRC )
Early and later wheels might be different.

Re: WTB: Factory Firebird steering wheel
I've got a grey one too but didn't mention it because it looks like it wouldn't match your interior. To be honest dyeing it might not work so well on something you'd be handling all of the time.
IIRC, the shifter **** usually matches the wheel so it might not be a bad idea to look for both.I've heard/read about them being tan but not black, but I don't know a whole lot about that.
