I have a 1987 Trans Am GTA with a fully working digital dash minus the odometer box. So I need a new one. Would prefer pictures with proof, as I already bought a seperate cluster off of eBay and the odometer didn't work either. Shipping to 33069 FL

Edit: I only need the odometer gauge itself, not the whole cluster.

 

I'm having the same issue with my odometer, I thought mine was bad, but I think I've traced it to the ground wire that goes to the dash center support. This is my new winter project since from what I've found on here it's a bit of a PITA to get to. Have you checked that connection for corrosion or a bad ground?

I read a ton of posts with everyone complaining of the same issue, odometer not working on dig dash. It seems that best solution is to get a working dig cluster and swap the board in. If anyone has a dig cluster for sale with working odometer pls pm me. Thanks

 

Not this particular issue. Mine has times where it will flash all 9's and then go out. Right now I've got what feels like about half the interior pulled out tracking down a short in the brake/running lights. I think it may have something to do with the 3 inch hole in the floor by the wiring harness I found...

 

well mine shows mileage for 3 seconds when car is started and then while the cluster is lit the digits disapear. also i am pretty sure its not recording the mileage. so i need a new circuit board for the odometer. if anyone has a working cluster for sale pls pm me. thank you

 

Mine has never worked in the year I've had my car. I don't remember where the actual mileage is stored, but if it records there and hasn't been recording...I've got a "low mile" GTA, right?

 

The mileage is stored on chip on the odometer board.
