You could get blue led replacements or light bulb covers.

I recommend WLED-X5 Wedge bulbs. I ordered some for my car, and they are amazing.
This is what they look like lit up:

I ordered mine from superbrightleds.com

I love the grey and black ones. I am not sure what they are made of though. I think its just a cloth type material and I was hoping for something a little more stylish. Good find though... Thanks.

Judging by the light pattern, those wont be that good. The ones I posted Actually have 5 LEDs: 1 square one in the middle and 4 facing to the side. That is to distribute the light as evenly as possible.

I tried the bulb covers and they're not bright enough for my taste. I'm ordering the WLED-X5 from superbrightleds.com, but I not looking forward to pulling the cluster out again.

i tried LEDs but was never satisfied with the color since the gauges need side light. i did not try the ones posted by cooltc they may work better. i found that the red colored ones from APC actually worked the best.

someone told me that these

don't require new LED lights to look good. He said "You don't need to get extra light bulb. This is a whole set include the wire and inverter. On the back of this gauge face is some circuit. You will connect the inverter to some power source and to the gauge face so it will light up in blue. Thank you."
Can anyone clarify this? Thanks

I've seen these kits go pretty cheap on eBay. What is the power inverter exactly and how easy is it to install? Anyone buy these and install them? Sorry to hijack but it's somewhat related to his original question

Easy to install, I put a set of those on my 02 S-10. The inverter box just gets grounded and hooked up to a wire that is hot when the parking lights are on.

The factory bulbs have nothing to do with lighting up those gauges. The power inverter that you hook up powers the gauges for there own light source.

They are FAKE LEATHER......or Velour as they say...unless thats not fake leather...shyt I just like its style, color and the way it feels.
I SUGGEST SITTING IN THIS SEAT BEFORE YOU BUY IT. I WAS GOING TO BUY A DIFF SEAT UNTIL I SAT IN IT....THEN IT FELT ALL WEIRD..LOL. SO SIT IN IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT.....RECOMMENDED...I SAT ON MINE AT SUMMIT RACING.
I am def getting these bulbs too. Mine in blacklight....shyts tight.

Fake leather is not velour. Velour is like a felt/suede-ish kinda fabric. Fake leather is commonly referred to as "pleather", or plastic-leather.

I liked the fact that they weren't like all the other aftermarket gauges that had the boring stock font just in a different color. Another plus is how amazingly bright they are. Sorry this is the only pic that shows them lit up as of now.

I just couldnt tell if there was some function to it, other than being a nightlight
(its been a long time since Ive spent any time at all looking at my gauges...cars been parked for 7 years, and were almost done with the engine swap...couldnt remember if there was something there on the gauge to be illuminated)
Are those on ebay...stickers? Im sorry, Ive just never done this before

Hey I just bought some of these but without the blue circle in the middle. For my no knowledge about cars and only 17 I didnt do too bad. I could do it again in maybe 1-2 hours if I had to. But here's some things. 1) I used double sided scotch tape for them to stick and it works great. 2) I used a red sharpee and colored my needles red, works awesome (ill get some pics to post later today), and you shouldnt need any blue LED's, they come with a power inverter each gauge has it's own wiring, there are 3 wires (rpm, speedo, temps) they run out the gauge and connect to a chain of wires which runs to the power inverter and it comes with a dimmer and you just run the power inverter to a postive headlight wire and a negative ground.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have more questions. They are 100% worth it, amazing product. (:

I would like to see a video or pictures of these bulbs in use...or something...so I can really see how they look before I buy (even though they are cheap to me...money wise not quality). That and I want to see diff colors and how they look. ANYBODY?

If you want to see the LEDs installed, I think I took a picture and its at home. If so, Ill post it when I get home. If not, it will have to wait til I goto the car again, which will probably be this weekend.

Hey thats cool. I wouldnt mind waiting till the weekend knowing I am waiting for my Mr. Heater Propane heater and Grant 4 spoke wheel. Take your time. Just would like to see them in "person"...
is there anyway to splice the gauges in so that they use the rheostat that the existing light switch uses eliminating the need for an external ****? I would like both the needles and the gauges to come on at the same time.
