i have a 1 pc back rear seat set here in front of me and the bottoms weight 3.5 lbs each and the rear weighs 23.5 lbs.
all together thats 31.5lbs. add seat belts and thats even more. just dont forget to re-install the center buckle bolts, they hold the e-brake cables on.

sorry, the reason I quoted that last one, is I didnt realize the e-brake cable bolts to that, maybe thats why my e-brake doesnt work too well, although it never has since I bought it, but maybe that was the culprit(sp?)

yeah, i never noticed it either until i was under the car, putting in my new driveshaft and i noticed that the brackets that hold the individual cables are held on by the belt bolts

i have those delete boxes from speedspecality. they are crap, but can be made to work if you have good upholstry skills. its probably better to make your own.

well i took my spair out i havn't taken anything else out im not really having my car as a race car although i have a lot done to it. im just trying to sub for my stereo that i have 2 12s and everything else that goes with it. i don't think its worth taking the back seets out although its nice to not have to give anyone rides.
any other ways i can lighten up my car besides spare and the back seats?
