New idea for Interior

Ok I may be crazy but tell me what you think and give me your ideas to improve my idea. I was looking at the threads and the pics of everyone's cars and I noticed that no one has come up with the idea to replace the plastic consel/Dash/other plastic parts with light but sturdy metal and give it a paint job. I am talking primer, color and clear coat. I know it would be costly but personally i think it would look really good and its original. So comment this tell me what you think and if you don't like it do us a favor and leave a reasonable opinion.

If it was done right, I think it would look great. I was also thinking about ideas to make that part of the interior more appealing. Like maybe having the dashpad & shifter console match the color of the car and getting trimmed with a glossy black or another color to match the interior. If you do plan do something like this be sure to post a write-up and some pics.

I have many ideas for the interior, though I'm not sure how much I really want to reveal yet because I'd like to finish it all first before I let the secret out of the bag. I've had many ideas about the console, fitted them, looked at it, and decided another route. On that note I have a 4th gen console for sale. I am not a fan of many vibrant colors splashed into the interior. I think that dark softer colors are better inside because they are more soothing to the eyes rather than vibrant bright colors like red, etc, that I feel ony belong on the outside of the car.

Sure you can accent your interior with alittle bit of color, but in my opinion it has to be tastefully done because too much doesn't look good at all, and too little will just look odd and out of place.

Alittle hint on my interior, it involves 2 seats, a tv, a set of GTO window switches, and a few more cues that will still look stock.

Check FlyinLow's Old 1989 Trans Am GTA, he had parts of his dash in the same platinum silver color as the car. Search here on the forum or search for 1989 gta's on cardomain...
