Problem with Glove Compartment

Recently, for unknown reasons, my glove compartment became solidly stuck in the closed postion. I assume that the latch is stuck and have tried everything to get it open. Just wondering whether anyone has come across this problem themselves or if anyone had any tips or ideas for getting the glove box open. Thanks

It happens all the time, your spring probably broke. You need to pull the latch forward to get it open, I have a spring and latch just in case yours are busted.
