Probably previously asked: Autometer speedo cable adapter?

Its been a while since I been on here. My Camaro has been over at a buddy's house while we worked on the roll bar, and then I just kinda forgot about it, no money . Anyways, Im gettin back over here this weekend and one thing thats been bugging me is that I cannot get my stock speedo cable to hook up to my Autometer mechanical speedo. I was cheap at the time and I didnt wanna spend the extra $$$ for the electronic one. But I remember hearing somewhere on here that theres a company that either sells an adapter to mate my existing cable to the speedo, or sells a new cable with an end that will fit the Autometer. I did a brief search, but it might have been from a while back. Ill keep looking, maybe I can find it. Anyone wanna chime in?

I really should search a little more before posting . I found my post I put up a while back, and someone told me that a cable from a 76 full size p/u w/ TH350 , 2WD and no cruise should/will work. xpndbl3, can you or anyone else verify that this will indeed work? Im looking for a direct replacement with the correct fittings already attached and all that jazz.

I know you answered me about what cable to get, but you never got back to me on that last question on that post. I just wanted to make sure that it did work and that someone has done it before and confirmed everything.

I looked up that cable today at work (GM part) and it says something about cut/crimp to fit, did you have to do that to yours?

i believe last time i answered it i said to measure the length of your stock one, then go to autozone, etc and get the book out for their speedo cable company, find the fitting size you need and get a similar length, for my application it was the truck listed above, yours may vary a little, mine was 6" longer than stock so i could loop it away from the headers. There is no cut to fit unless you buy a universal one, which you might as well buy the one i outlined.
