Well I just got my Camaro about 3 weeks ago and I'm loving it. But I do want to change the interior. The exterior color is white with hints of black on the T-Tops, weather stripping blah blah you know the deal. So the interior is almost completely different. It has purple velour seating. Blue carpeting and the plastic interior pieces from the rear seats back are blue faded to grey, also the headliner is grey as well. I was thinking of ordering a brand new plush black carpet and headliner. Getting new black plastic pieces for the bakc or painting the ones I have. And having my seats re upholstered with white leather, black stiching, black tubing, and at neck level a black chevy logo. Kinda cliche ::shrug:: oh well just thoughts right now. Any opinions or thoughts on how it might look better will be appreciated

 

I dont understand why people change their interior colors and not match them. I guess some people start and never get to finish.

I think what you said sounds cool. I bought my 83 TA and it was black with gold bird decals and then the interior had tan carpet and tan and black interior with grey and black seats. I just swaped out all the tan and black with all black. I got a black carpet too. I got a couple pieces that were dark charcoal and I just sprayed them all so that they are all the same color. And I just painted the car Metalic Black and I will be using silver bird decals. I was going to paint the tan interior but just in case it got scratched. That is why I went with as dark interior as I could find on ebay, so if it got scratched it would not be as noticible. But I think the vinyl paint has come a long way.

I think its a good idea the upholstery sounds good. I work in an upholstery shop in orlando. We don't do much automotive work but i know it is a pricey service.
I like the idea of using paint on the plastic im in the middle of sanding the top textured layers off of the ones in my car and then im going to paint mine.
