is this even possible? my bud has a 86 T/A and bought a 93-97 camaro console to go in. it bolted right in but there is a big huge gap between it and the radio pod. does he need to return this or is there any tricks/tips to make it look right. he should be online later to post pics

thats not a ta console you have attached, Thats gotta be a camaro console.

we know.. all we have seen are the t/a consoles were wondering if anyone has tried the camaro one

 

First, just to clarify, 93-96 Camaro's had their own style Black console, 93-96 Firebird's have their own style Graphite Grey console and 97-02 Camaro's and Firebird share the exact same console, but in either Graphite Grey or Black

From what I understand the 93-96 Camaro console does not fit perfectly (in 85-92 Firebird's) like the 93-96 Firebird and 97-02 Camaro/Firebird ones.

Here's a pic of a 96 Firebird console (With a 2005 Impala shift ****) in my Formula. It was a direct bolt in, I did not have to adjust or modify the console in anyway:

 

nice car...ive seen lots of the pontiac 4th gen consoles but never the camaro ones...he got a 95 camaro console and there is a gap big enough for a waterbottle to fit (thats whats there temp.) lol if you look closely in the pics its inside a boot between the radio pod and console

 

does anyone have any ideas to fab there or have any pics??
