Re: Neon/LED set-ups
If I were to do something of this nature, I would skip the neon and go led.
Check out this site / video, the led's are amazing & make the neon look kinda bland...

I have the Streetfx Colorstorm stuff. It is a little pricey at $500 for the kit. But it's the best out there. I dose so much more then just colors. It even has a remote so you can change it out side of the car. Then it even has a dash viewer to let you know what it's doing while your in the car. https://www.streetfxseries.com/pc/vi...?idCategory=10. Adam :-)

I was also interested in something like this, but I think I'll just go for underdash lights instead. The IceLed Scanner video was pretty sweet, though.

Re: Neon/LED set-ups
That scanner is amazing. Now fi only I could drop $190 on a scanner. I'd put it in my Ram-Air vents. I have a red neon in there now.
xsupermann69x, I'm not sure exactly what your looking for but I picked up a few 20" red neon tubes from Pep Boys and mounted them in the driver and passenger foot wells. I threw one in my trunk by my subs and one in my Ram-Air vents as mentioned above. They bounce to music and all that.
You can see the one mounted in under the dash in my sig. I dont have night shots yet, but if you need them lemme know. I might be able to take a movie of them...if my camera would ever work.

Re: Neon/LED set-ups
I have red leds in my air vents and I think it looks pretty cool...almost furnacelike. I also have red leds inside my amp in the back and two more leds hooked up to the subs themselves that pulse/flash to the music...that looks pretty badass.... on the outside, I have red leds inside the wheel wells...
Re: Neon/LED set-ups
in illinois neons are illegal but! i have them anyways. i have been wanting to put some bendable tubes of LED's in my wheel wells as well just cant find them. but i have the whole neon kit under car and in the front i have a neon tube that lights up my grill(would look awesome if i had a billet) and in my interior i have the round LED's u can get from autozone or advanced autoparts under my dash, looks realy clean because their barly over 1/4" thick and then in my vents i have the little bitty 3" neon tube in the middle vent and on the side are LED's, all behind billit inserts in my vents. also i found a blue bulb for my dome light and im wrorking on a way to mount plexyglass infront of my rear 6x9's and put a neon tube next to the speaker and in my back i have plexyglass laying over the big cubbyhole with 2 amps hanging upside down susspened with the back covers off and neon lights inside and under them strobes and im thinking about gettign that rope light to high light the subwoofers and the outline of my dash and councle. so far i have spent maybe $500 on the whole deal but looks awesome all blue

Re: Neon/LED set-ups
i dunno it seems pretty borderline for me. Yes they can look good but the imports have given them such a bad image that i think i'll spend the cash somewhere else for now. But eventually i would like to get a few accents for the inside mostly so you can see when going in and out. And hiding them is a must! don't know if they make a teal color though.
