I've read of people finding them on ebay. And you might checkout the thirdgen.org classifieds, too. Finding a good used one from a junkyard would prolly be impossible because most would be broken.

But if you want a new one, try some of the board sponsors whose links are in the right margin.----->

I didn't bid on it - won't have the cash in that time frame, so just a FYI

 

wow, i didn't know they could go for that much. I might sell mine and use the money to get a 4th gen console. I even have an automatic and manual shifter plate for the 85-92 console and it's in atleast as good of shape as the one on ebay

 

Well all I really need is the pod around the radio and a/c it self,my shifter console is in great shape.But I found one brand new from GM for about $60.00!but thanks anyway!

 

Yeah, I thought it was too dang pricey too - but I haven't looked at prices on them. That one wasn't in a whole lot better shape than mine - certainly not worth 100+
