Third gen seats w/ Camaro on back?
I've seen a few pictures of these and I really REALLY want a set in my car. Does anybody know what years/models they came on? The set that I saw were black with CAMARO in the 3rd gen font on the lower-back part of the front seat. If it'd help I can try to track down a photo of the ones I saw on ebay awhile back. Thanks!

I don't know if it helps, but I have a set in my '87 IROC. I've only seen them in better-optioned cars that did not get leather. I don't know if there was an RPO for it though.

They were a extra cost option in 1987 (custom cloth seats) and I had them until I replaced them with 4th gen seats (upgrade in my opinion).

Yeah, they're about as comfortable as sitting on cinder blocks.

I believe Hawks has a cover with everything on them EXCEPT the word Camaro in the font. But if you know anyone who's handy with embroidering, you could just have it sewn in.

I got a set for sale! matching door panels too. They are black and charchol with the word camaro on them. $240. I live in omaha, NE. got pictures too. let me know.

Actually, I believe the subject is the cloth seats linked above. I have them in my IROC. Grey seats with the camaro name in font in the bottom right hand corner of the seatback.

But Hawks doesn't have the Camaro embroidered in. Most likely due to licensing issues with GM.
