So there aren't after market dash clusters specifically made fore the 3rd gen that would just be like plug and play?

Re: Dashboard Gauge Cluster

I put a covans gauge kit in my 85 z28,and it was a fairly simple install. It had a harness with the kit and you have to cut the stock loom plugs off and wire the new ones and wire the led's for the indicators and such.It came up really well.

Re: Dashboard Gauge Cluster

That's a Nordskog set. Even on their site, the 90-92 cluster is not illustrated. They are available for all, but only show the 82-89.

I had Dakota Digital make a set for me, they install pretty much the same. You have to tap into the factory harness and run a wire for each signal to the microprocessor that is mounted somewhere under the dash.

Here's mine...

Thats exactly what i'm looking for, a modern look to a classic car

it looks awsome, by the way were you dynoing your car when you took the picture ha

your going 102mph with people standing around (you can see them in the reflection)

again for the pic

Yup, took that during a dyno run. Had fuel injector problems on a previous dyno run and barely broke 100 RWHP. Chased the gremlins down and this dyno (generous BTW) gave me a run at 138 RWHP - this is a stock V6 (number should be around 120-125 RWHP).

Glad you like the gauges
