Console code labels/carpet color/RPO decoder

I just realized that the code label on my '88 IROC that's on the console lid is from another vehicle. Obviously the lid was swapped out. I'm replacing the lid anyway, so if anybody knows how to get the codes/lid to the right vehicle let me know. The VIN on the code label is:

1G1FP87F4FN127787

I was actually looking for the color code for my carpet, which I want to replace. I also have the code label on the inside of the console box, plus the wrong label on the inside of the lid. I was thinking about how to transfer the code label off the lid to my new lid, but I guess I don't have to worry about that any more. Anybody know where the carpet color is? I tried to download the RPO decoder, but I don't have the .NET framework. Where can I download that? Thanks all! John

Thanks Duke. Did it. General question...how do you get to be a senior member? You're all over this site. Have seen you before. John

You have to reach a certain post count to become a senior member. Posts in some boards don't count toward your post count such as the classified boards. I just read, learn, and share my knowledge as much as I can, this is an awesome site.

Crouchman that's good to try and find the owner of that Camaro.I can tell you,if you don't already know, she's a '85(tenth digit F)and either a Z28 or IROC because of the eighth digit being a F(LB9 TPI 305).And she's a Norwood build.Scottmoyer has a thread/poll about where the SPID decal is located. From the posts it looks like it depended on the build plant and year as to where it was located.I need to get the numbers off my replacement console cover and possibly the owner of the car is a member.
