You and the whole third gen community The jY is the source for the least expensive parts, but the chance of finding a good one is pretty slim.

You could also try a molded dash cover. http://storeapps.net/zbra/searchv2/index.php

The best bet, as 82 points out, is the JY. The price of these can be outrageous: There's one on E-bay going for over $300 at the moment (I bought a JY minty for $50).

As far as the covers go... Do they look good? I have a crunch on the drivers corner where you (actually I) get in and out. Does it cover these corners? How tight is it? Can you tell it's just a cover?

JC Whitney for a molded one. I spent about a hundred bucks and love it. I didn't pull the vent covers or used the adhesive yet.

Re: Best place to get a dash pad

If you are restoring your ride to it's original state, best thing is to replace it with a brand new one. "Classic Industries" now has the original GM padded dash available for $270 bucks. I now in kind of expensive, but at least you know you're getting a perfect condition one instead of chancing it out with a used one from ebay or a used one when may not be perfect. I'm currently restoring my interior with all brand new stuff. Mostly from "Year One" or "Classic Industries". If you want to look like it was brand new, that's the best route.
