Trunk Issue

I recently changed my amps around; from the truck to under the seats. Now when I drive the trunk release consistently goes off, and I have no idea what to do.

Re: Trunk Issue

Sounds like you have an intermitant short between a power wire and the switch side of the hatch release wire. I would trace the wiring you moved with the amps and see if there is a place that they could come in contact.

Re: Trunk Issue

The trunk issue is just one of the two others that occured when i re-did the wiring. The Shifter does not indicated Park, Reverse, Neutral, Over-Drive, Drive, 2, and 1. It is stuck between second and Drive. On top of that the ignition is locked, I have to pull it back and then push it forward to start the car. I think it has to do with the center console. But im clearly not sure
