I know they are in bad shape. I was at my local junkyard and I found this Camaro that had these seats and door panels in it. I thought it was weird that they said Camaro. They had some sort of emblem right below the headrest. I'm pretty sure they were factory. I would have taken more pics but the my Phone dosen't take the best of pictures. I'm sorta surprised that it took ones as good as it did.

Fairly common in the early to mid-80's (three colors). The driver's seat is a Lear/Seigler Conteur. The interior is often called the Camaro, Camaro, Camaro--imagine that! Check my Car Details for more pics. My twin L/S's come from a TA, IIRC. They have, of course, have been recovered.

Re: Any one ever seen these crazy seats and door panels before

I found a set of those in the same color at a yard in northern NJ about 2 months ago. They were in an 85 Iroc and were in fairly good condition. However the woman who ran the yard liked to charge high prices for stuff and I did not get them. She wanted 35 dollars apiece for just the door panels so at that point I didnt even bother asking for a price on the seats

And why is it that Gm has a reputation for tacky interiors?? Oh yeah. lol
My old 86 S10 had "truck truck truck" door panels and seats.

I don't think you want the one pictured. The windows are down in this car. and they won't go up. Surprisingly the battery had enough juice in it to start the engine.

Very "eightys". Also if seats can be cleaned they are very popular with the resto crowd. I have turned down many offers to sell interior.

I like yours cause they are black. I'm not much on the style of the seat though. My car has one peice buckets. I'm thinking of recovering them in fabric. Not much on Vinyl

If your talking about the window's, yes, they are. The switches are in the center console for em. Your problem with the windows, considering how you said both of them are "broken" is probably a fuse. Check it next time your out there.

Those seats could be redone for like 60 bucks where I live. Definatly worth grabbing if you have plans to have them reupholstered.

I was speaking for the seat. The "pod" is somewhat rare. You lost me on the rest of your statement.

Ah, yes, I remember those. IIRC, there was also "SPORT SPORT SPORT".

Those seats and panels are worth grabbing, there are several people that would love to have them, including me.

Here's a pic of that L/S Conteur Custom Interior seat option offered in the Z28 in the '83 sales brochure . . .
