I bought one at the zone because the one that came with my car was painted and nasty looking. All aluminum.

 

I'm in the same boat..... trying to find an auto shift **** (round style) for an '86 Camaro. There are a ton on ebay labeled as '82-'92, but I pulled the one off my '91 and it doesn't fit. 1982 to 1986 models used a slightly different style. Anyone rip out their factory shifter, install a B&M and be willing to make a few bucks selling their original?

i have the round shift **** off of an 85 iroc if you are interested. i put in a fourth gen shifter and have no need for it now, leather is a little worn but id be willing to let it go real cheap. pm me if interested
