I have a 92 Camaro RS with tan interior. I was going to replace one of the plastic pieces and found a guy selling an entire interior, so i bought it all. When I got home I looked at the new interior and it was a different color tan. The "new" interior I bought came out of a 91 RS and it is more of an orange tan than my light tan. Does anyone know what the different colors are called or where I would find my color on the tag in the console? I will be selling this complete interior that I bought if anyone needs this other color. I also have a complete console and a partial console as well.

 

I don't seem to have the RPO tag in my console. I will have to figure it out via the VIN number. Any ideas?

 

Try checking http://www.camarosource.ca, they list interior colors for each year.

 

Sounds like you got a beechwood tan and your car has a doeskin tan

 

My 89 IROC tan has faded into about 5 different shades. I'm going to re dye it all at some point so it matches!

 

Also if you have a 92 the RPO codes are in the storage compartment in the back, not in the console like the earlier cars.

 

Hey thanks for the info. I found my RPO tag. The color of my interior is the light beige color. ANd I believe I have a complete beechwood tan interior for sale. Anyone interested? $110 for everything.
