dash lights come on when i brake

dash lights come on when i brake
just like the title says... Is there a simple explanation for this? My dome light is burnt out, so I don't know if it comes on too when I brake. I'll replace the bulb and post the results.

and your park lights are probably comming on as well...someone has put a brake lite bulb in backwards I think

yeah i'll check that out... I never thought to check that. It always seemed like that was difficult to do.

yeah the wrong type of bulb had been forced into one of my brakelight sockets
