Speedhut Gauges
Found these over at the GN forum. Can get them custom engraved and they have memory settings to boot.
Check out the Turbo 6 in the gauge.

In additon to recall of the tach and speedo, shift light and you can set warning lights for all the gauges

Re: Speedhut Gauges
I'm glad I ran across this as I think I've found my gauges. I've been trying to figure out how I was going to tackle the T56 + cable driven speedo issue in my '88. I haven't really been turned on by the aftermarket options enough to let loose of $800. I wasn't exactly excited about paying $350+ to have my tailhousing modded for cable driven speed sensor output just to use the stock gauges.
The look of the gauges makes happy enough to spend the duckets...

Quick update: I just ordered the kit shown above and ended up with all the gauges for $683, free shipping and no tax. Lead time approx 2 weeks.

Re: Speedhut Gauges
Well, the gauges arrived today. I will say I'm mostly happy with these gauges just looking at them in the box. However, it looks like there is a small square raised area on both the speedo and tach. We'll see how it ends up looking when installed and lights on...

Vexter, those gauges look boss ! I am in the market for gauges now and had never heard of these, utterly awesome. Please tell me more about the install process. I was looking toward the dakota digital gauges because they have that "Plug everything into this" hub that I like. What is the install process on these ?

Re: Speedhut Gauges
Omni - I haven't started the install yet. I'll be doing the gauges at the same time as the T56 install (almost ready for that). However, these don't appear to be strictly plug-and-play. Each instrument comes with it's own sensor and wire/cable. The only exception to this is the fuel gauge which uses the existing sensor.
I haven't figured out what I'm going to do about turn signal and high beam lights yet. I don't want anything like what's in the OP's pic. I need to get these mounted up in the Covan's panel and hook up some power to see how they're going to look.
Let me know if I can answer anymore questions.

Ok, a couple more pics. Granted, my picture taking abilities could use some refinement, but you get the idea. I finally mounted the gauges in the Covan Panel and hooked up 12vdc in a dark room. The results are attached...

Re: Speedhut Gauges
so far so good, just rolled 7500miles the other day actually. The only thing that i have to report is that the tach will occaisionally get "lost" if you dont let it do its full sweep between turning the key on and actually firing the car. It hasnt bugged me enough to bother calling speed hut about it
