Re: headliner
well i found the official site for the order catalog for the 1967 through the 2002 camaro parts
you can even order online instead of buying the catalog. its a really nice site
only thing i don't like is they don't have the black headliner kits
and the kits include the head liner sun visors and speaker cover panels for only $150 so its really cheap don't know the shipping cost though

Re: headliner
I purchased the ABS Plastic headliner with black cloth covering. Part number afh12c1559 for t-tops. There is also a headliner material kit that does not include the ABS, sail panel, and sun visor fabric. The black part number for that is 829201. Both are from Classic. ABS headliner w/ cloth is $180 and the material kit is $150. Depends on what you have to work with as far as your headliner backing is concerned. Mine had gotten wet and started to separate so I had to buy the ABS plastic w/ cloth covering. If you do not have t-tops you need afh19c1559 for ABS headliner w/ cloth (not t-tops) @ $180. Hope this helps

Re: headliner
Do you have t tops or not? I have t's and with the t-tops you do not need any clips. There were 2 clips on the front of the old headliner which can be thrown away. The ABS is stiff enough to hold in place with out them. If you talking about the A pillar that and B pillar (where the t-top locks into), im not sure where to get the clips. My A pillars dont have clips anymore (someone at some point lost them) but they fit in and stay just fine with out them. There is no modification required for the ABS kit. Just unbolt your a/b pillar, sail panels, rear glass trim, sun visors, and the dome light. Old one pulls down, new one pops up. Easy as that.

Re: headliner
When I replaced my headliner the dome light had a few clips in it (they do look like rivets) but if you break the circular washers your dome light should come out. At least that is what I did then you can buy replacement ones at any car part store.

Re: headliner
I dont know where to get sail panel clips either, but you can buy new sail panels. You should in fact buy them along with sun visors if you replace the headliner so that the color and fabric all match perfectly. The dome light can be purchased but im not sure how you can attach it if the posts are missing.

Re: headliner
Take needle nose pliers and grab hold of the round clips and turn them back and forth with downward pressure and they will walk right off. Dont need to break them that way.

Re: headliner
I would try ebay for clips if thats what your looking for. I have not seen them in the reproduction books. Not for third gen anyway.

Re: headliner
Yes, the ABS is just a plastic piece with the cloth attached to it. They are held in place with the Sail Panels, Rear Trim Piece, dome light, and the A pillars; so no clips are needed. As far as the clips for the A & B pillars, these are what I bought and they are perfect: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-CA...Q5fAccessories
Just make sure the clips are warm (room temperature) or they will break when you install them. I made the mistake of trying it when I'd left them in the car and it was only 30 degrees so I broke 3 of them.

Re: headliner
They did in the past for sure. Some one had replaced them at one time and I am in the process of replacing them again right now. Also, I have been told that it is easy to get stuck out in a rain storm with the tops off and that raises hell with the liner.... dunno.

Re: headliner
I had a new headliner installed in my 1992 Z today at the trim shop. He did the sail panels and visors also for $150.00 total. My car is a hardtop and the board was in excellent shape.
