I've seen a few people on here that have combined the 4th gen firebird console with the 3rdgen radio pod . Who here has done this, and do you have any more pics of the process

Mines a firebird but I assume you want pictures of a camaro. Click on the car domain link in my sig it has pictures of the 4th gen console. If a firebird it just pretty much works, I guess the only issue in the camaro would be mounting the pod to the dash.

 

You are the absolute worst poster here at just asking questions without doing a search. This topic has been discussed 100's of times as well as your question on door rebuilding. Your question on a rear strut tower bar was also found with a quick search in the fabrication forum.

I'll admit that the search function is useful and I should have used it, yet in seeing that its been suggested that I use the search already, it should be obvious that I get it. Obviously i'm no newb, but I am allowed my mistakes... yet whats the purpose in stating the obvious, if for no reason but to make your seem an uber-user to a newb ?

I don't want to start a flame war or anything, but it seriously gets me when people chime in to say "use the freakin search" , when they obviously know the correct search terms, or may even know of a thread that may be useful.

I'll take my hit for making a newb post.. foolish of me, yet it would seem more becoming of senior member of the board to invite questions, and provide assistance where needed? I know i've been on both ends of this spectrum in providing assistance when I had the knowledge, and receiving the assistance of many others.

(I am self admittedly not the best person here for throwing wrenches, but in getting things solved on my own IROC, i've had my experiences, and i've archived much of what i've come across in this little site I call http://www.badassiroc.com , thats what I can offer)

As was requested, I will use the search as it would likely be more effective in this case and I do not want to clog up the boards with unnecessary banter. Gents, thank you for setting me straight, no blood no foul, lets call it a day.

The point is, you're doing it over and over again and you're not new. Someone needed to say something. Maybe you'll get it this time.

You know people like forums because they can get advice from people over the internet.
They can tell who knows exactly what their talking about and then pm them for more detailed info or hints on how to get things done right.
Kinda like shooting the shyt with a bunch of car guys who have been their done that.

BUT NO this site has become a god forsaken ****ing library where if you ask the clerk where a book is she flips out telling you theirs a god damn computer catalog in the corner you should be using.

You guys know the info so spend the time to post up about it or shut the **** up!
Why waste bandwith responding with stupid **** like USE THE SEARCH thinking your so much cooler than the newb asking the question.

And for your information USE THE SEARCH FOR FITTING A CAMARO WITH A GOD DAMN 4th gen console.... THEIR IS NO ONE PARTICULAR THREAD WITH THE EXACT DETAILS NEEDED.
The best iv found is " Bolt the console in and jam the pod in and bolt it up as it fits"!!!!!
SO FOR ALL YOU KEYBOARD JERKS STFU...seriously its like " Say something nice or dont say something at all"

So many people come here for info and turn their face on thirdgen. Its a library that I come to get info and I have to SPEND HOURS searching for that info and reading through countless threads before I find the exact thing I need, and half of those damn posts are USE THE SEARCH. w.e ban me delete my post I dont even car people need to lighten up and if need be repeat the same info a million times to a million different people.
