3rd GEN to 4th GEN interrior swap

Hello, I was just wondering, how hard is it to do this swap. I have heard from many people that it is kind of hard to get the interrior to look "right". I was wondering if I should attempt to do this myself or have a professional do this and how much that would run about? The car I wanted to buy to swap interriors was a 1990 camaro Iroc-z28, with a 1994-1997 camaro. Any suggestions please post.

The door panels will be a bastard and the dash might need a little cutting to make it fit. Don't pay for it to be done, it will cost a fortune. I'd rather spend the money on horsepower.

If you decide to do the conversion, post your progress and any problems that you encounter. I would like to swap in a 01 trans am interior into my 89 formy but first the 406 and t56 have to get crammed in there first. I already have enough interior modifications.

This topic has been beaten to death and then some. It's been covered several times over just do a search. It's not hard ,the door panels are not worth the hassle and will never fit right , I had them and pulled them out in favor of custom panels with 4thgen parts.

Sure , there are probably more thread I have posted but most are old here are a few:

Older post of dash install , more progress has been made on pillers and gaps , in a few weeks I will have those pics up

My first install of 4thgen panels , didnt like the fit and took them out in the winter:

Solution to poor fitting 4thgen panels with some modern touch , I have since updated my design with vinyl and custom pods/center inlay.

Wow, you did an excellent job with that 4th gen conversion...

I like what you did with the doors as well after your removed them.

Hardest part might be getting the heater/ac vents to work properly.
