Ideas to make my car more unique
I want my 91 firebird's interior to get a little more unique and not just stock.
What are some ideas that would change up the look a little bit but also look good at the same time?? I don't wanna be spending a million on it either because we all know these cars aren't worth that much haha...

Full length center console. I believe the last one I saw done, was a RX7 console & didn't look like it took TOO much work to fit.
I'm thinking of building my own full custom one, but have way too many things to do ahead of that.

Maybe adding some gauges? Possible some cool lighting or something. I'm new with all of this. Maybe you can create a custom console with cup holders integrated and buttons and things for accessories and outlets?

If your asking others for ideas then its not exactly unque! What makes anything unique is your own ideas. Not critisizing, just saying this is the best advice i could think of.Instead of telling you what i would do to my interior if i wanted to make it stand out, but that would mean there at least two of us with the similar interiors.

I am just looking for ideas, and i highly doubt that i would listen to only one person to where my interior matched exactly to theirs which is already impossible because I have already don't some custom things to my interior. Im just trying to get more ideas so I can be more creative with mine.

Heated/cooled seats
Sunroof
Swap out the steering wheel.
Extra (better!) gauges.
GPS, g-tech or DVD player in dash.
Better shifter.
Different pedals.
Neons?
LEDs?
8-track?

When modifiying a car, I always try to follow the Chip Foose phase: It's not what you add to a car, Its what you can't take away.
With that in mind, first take out things you may not need. The rear seats, the sunvisors, etc. Then move next to the stuff that could be replaced or upgraded which could include seats(maybe even just get some seat covers), headliner, carpet, interior plastic painting, white face guages, 4th gen center console, cd player, etc. Then cautiously add weird things you may want like a CB Radio.

I believe the other Chip Foose idea is to modify a car so that a common passerby would not realize it isn't stock. In other words, don't make it gaudy just to make it unique.

Re: Ideas to make my car more unique
I once had this question, and then I started looking around everywhere for pictures, and those pictures resulted in some ideas. I did the 4th gen center console swap (FAIL), I had the rear panels in my interior covered in fabric, painted some stuff.. etc... but the greater outcome of it was the wealth of pictures that was aquired.
