Turn and High beam indicator lights

I have an '88 Formula and I'm thinking that group of three lights might look alright for a hotrod I'm working on. Does that come off of the gauge panel easily?
Alternatively, does anyone know where I might find something like it new?

Are you talking about just that section of the dash? When you actually take the gauge face cover off, it's just a piece of plastic sitting overtop of three light's that are recessed into the dashboard, that part comes off easily after you take the screws out, the light's aren't as easy.

It sounds like we're on the same page. It's between the speedo and tach, above center and has the left turn, high beam, and right turn indicators. I just want to use that small rectangular portion. Are the lights a part of a printed circuit board?
The piece of plastic sitting over the 3 lights, that will have the colored lenses with it will it not? I can make a housing for lights if that's the case.

Yeah we're on the same page, we have the exact same car

Ahaha, when I took apart my dashboard, I got a good look at that area, and basically the piece of plastic over top of the lights is just painted black, with transparent green and blue symbols, so when the lights come on, you just see them through that transparent area of the plastic, so yeah basically what you described.

I can't remember off hand if that piece is screwed in, or part of the pad or what, but with a steady hand it shouldn't be hard to get off. As for making your own light's and housing to put it over, that shouldn't be too hard, basically each light is in it's own recessed area, so it only lights up one signal when it comes on. Shouldn't be a very hard thing to fabricate, when you take the dash cover off you'll see what I mean.

You know, every time I get in the car it seems like the seats been moved. Now I know why!

This sounds feasible. I'll start searching the salvage yards for an instrument cluster. Thanks for the help!
