manual to power seats
Does anyone know if it is possible to install a power seat on to a no power seat car? Like is there a harness down there that is not connected to anything or do I need to find a harness? Where would I hook the harness up if that's what I need to do? Thanks.

No harness, you'll need that from the donor car.Or you can just make your own.Its bascially two wires, pos/neg.Most of the harness is on the seat track.

Just ground the black wire anywhere on the chassis. The red can go to a fuse on the fuse block or straight to the batt (w/fuse).

Yep - no need for a harness - just tap into the fuse box with a + wire, inline fuse holder, straight to the seat, and a ground wire from seat to anywhere.
Re: manual to power seats
Most of the factory harnesses I've seen tap into the power lock harness under the drivers side kick panel. Any sufficiently large (12 ga or better) orange wire would work. There are a ton of them on the back side of the fuse block. Or you can just crimp a spade terminal onto your power wire and plug it into any of the open spots on the fuse block marked ACC or BAT.

I chose a BATT terminal in my fuse box for mine - that way I can adjust the seat with the key out (like BEFORE I get in).

Re: manual to power seats
I measured current draw of my 4th gen seats to be about 22A or so when sitting on them. So, 22A+20A (standard rating of CTSY fuse) = 50A fuse. Then, to protect the seat motors themselves, add another 30A fuse between them and the BATT terminal.
This is what I think I need to do. Any thoughts?
I've attached a picture of the harness I just made. Uses AC Delco PT1157 to plug into harness already on seat. Uses GM fusebox tap (http://www.repairconnector.com/produ...Always-On.html).
I've excluded the extra fuse for now. I'll rely on CTSY fuse to do the job.
