Dimmer Switch

Need some help. How do I replace the Dimmer Switch in the Steering column?
Does it require complete disassembly? Air Bag, steering wheel etc?

By the way, it's a 1990 IROC, tilt wheel, cruise etc etc...

The dimmer switch itself is on the outside of the column. Remove the hush panel and you'll see a metal rod that goes into the switch (white, IIRC).

Thanks for the info. Is the switch attached to the turn signal stalk and does it need to be removed?

No need to mess with the stalk. Replace and adjust the switch at the bottom of the column and you should be good to go.
