You'll have to remove the center console, seats, both lower seat belt mounting points for the front seat for both sides, plastic sill plates, and the kick panel trim. Its easier if you take the big trim panels off behind the door too but you probably can get it out without taking those out.

I had a small felt piece covering the bolts inside the center console. Removed this and it revealed the bolts in the center console.

I have the same problem, my car lit on fire so i riped all out besides dash and counsol, What yah need to do from my perspective is loosen the wires runing along teh rockers and cover them with a strong flame resistand materisl. Remove some of the fire wall pading and insulation, cover the counsel also. Weld from the bottem so it will not leek any more. Basicly just cover anything that will be hit by sparks or heat and weld from bottom. Make nice even cuts from the rust just about an inch back from the good steel. Cut the patch evenly in the direct shap and make sure it fits tight, the tighter the fit the less gaping you have to do with the welds. Use a mig with gas not flux core. Tack it in, than stich it in, than compleat the weld. coat it with some primer and than an under coat. For the top you can weld it in but more risk of fire, or you can use some calking seelent that is of good grade and will last a while and is resistant to weather. the selant also works for any loose drain plugs. Ive been training with body work and am talented with welding, these are the steps im takeing for my car, and I have had expert welders give me tips and tell me how to do it specificly. Good luck and always keep a fire extingrusher on hand.
