so i bought a 1989 iroc z

eventually the outside will be the stock metallic blue

currently im going to redo the interior first, the carpet is going to be black, as well as the seats black with blue inserts(racing sseats) my indecisive point currently is idk if i should make the trim blue/black as well as the headliner blue/black? any suggestions or pictures of a blue/black interior would be greatly appreciated

oh ps it has ttops so the headliner wouldnt be a large area.

 

I am trying to figure out what to do with my interior as well. Currently it is gray, but I ripped out the seats and got some dark blue 4th gen seats for a good price. After ripping the seats out, I found the carpet not quite up to par (so dirty it is mostly black now and bald spots). Trying to figure out what color carpet to go with now.

I was thinking black carpet with dark blue seat might be good, but I am not sure.

I would love someone to post some pics to spark some imagination as well

 

Well, there is a couple people that bought cars with the custom color combo you are talking about and hated it. It looks to rice to look nice. When in doubt Go Stock!

 

I suppose that makes sense. That was why I wanted to see pics. Only reason I want a dark carpet is because I plan to do a lot of work in and out of this car, if I have some oil on my shoes or something I don't want to stain it.

I guess I just need to make up my mind already
